  • The First Color Movie

    The first colored movie was produced in 1912 called "With Our King and Queen through India"
  • The First Television

    The 1st successful electric television was created by Philo Taylor Farnsworth a 21 year old in San Francisco
  • Sound

    During the 1920's companies in the film industry began adding sound to their movies. The Jazz Singer was the first film to do this.
  • Popular Colored Motion pictures

    This year was the time when movie companies and people in the film industry made history. While setting the bar high for colored movies. Movies like, Gone with the Wind" Produced by Mervyn LeRoy and "The wizard of Oz" by David O. Selznick were released. All known for their use of color.
  • Town Antennas

    "Community Antennas" were introduced and put on tall or high areas to improve signals on peoples televisions.
  • Cable TV

    Cable TV provided more options and channels with a better signal that was far away.
