Money

    Childhood
When I was younger my parents basically got me everything I wanted. As far as I knew money was not a problem. We went on vacations, went out to eat, painted the rooms in our house, got a new car, and I even got a little brother (so expensive!).

We never struggled with money, but we did have a couple years span where we had medical expenses. These expenses cost a lot of money. But in 2009 we had won a lawsuit settlement. This helped out tremendously. We were able to pay off all of our current bills, buy my grandma her first new car, a new flat screen tv, new carpet, new couch, and an apartment.

I've been working at Florence Speedway ever since I can remember. It's usually only on Saturdays during the spring, summer, and early fall. When I was younger (and cuter) I would make on average $30 each night/week. I do still work there but I'm down to about $20-25 a night/week.

After the lawsuit, my dad had lost several jobs, one time it was for almost 2 years. At another point both my mom and dad were jobless. This was a very hard time, we had to eat at home as much as possible, not buy anything extra, deal with our car problems.

I want to go pen up a 401K or Roth IRA to start investing in my retirement loan. I need to put like 5% of my weekly "pay checks" into this account. When I get a steady job out of college I want to put 10-15% into that account.

As a college student or just out of college I hope to have no outstanding student loans, or a little like $5,000. Right out of college I want to get a stable job that pays at least $50,000 and has benefits.

As an adult I hope to have a job where I can make 6 figures. This can happen if I work hard in high school and college. If I go into dentistry, which might be the plan, then I could start my own business, and I can be my own boss.

At my steady job, I hope to make enough that I will be able to put 15-20% into my retirement fund and my child(rens) college fund(s). Along with those I want to be able to pay the bills, child(rens) schooling, and for entertainment. I want to be able to provide for myself, not just rely on my husband, so I need to create a life for myself.

I want to have saved plenty of money for me to live comfortably and to be able to spoil my children and grandchildren. My grandparents now make enough money t take the grandchildren places and on vacation and I hope to be like that.

When I am really old I want to have enough money saved up that my family could put me in a retirement home if I become too much to handle. And when I die I want to still have money left over so that my family wouldn't have to pay for my funeral arrangements and maybe enough left over that the remainder to go to my children, along with my house, car, and goodies.
