    The Taiping Rebellion is known as one of the most important events to ever happen to China in the 19th century. Hong Xiuquan was highly insipired by the views of Christian teachings and sought to believe that he was the son of God and the younger sibling to Jesus Christ himself.     Chiang Kai- Shek had decided to leave for Taiwan and this marked the start of something they knew as the "two chinas". It showed the difference between Mao and the Chinese Nationalist forces.

    When Mao passed away in 1976, there was no one to come into power. Zhou Enlai, who came after him, also passed away the same year.   • One Child Policy instituted

    One Child Policy instituted
    In a letter from the Chinese Communist Party to the public of China, the citizens were only obligated to have one child per household. More than one was unpraised. This was created due to Mao encouraging families to have lots and lots of kids so much that people had 4 children in their homes. The government believed with a restriction on population growth it would bring an increase in the economy.

    The Three Gorges Dam has a total of 32 generators and is the world's largest hydropower excelerator. It's supposed to help to decrease the amount of flooding and store water during hot and dry days.
