flip phone
I got my first cell phone (flip phone) for Christmas. I remember it well because the sprint towers were actually down and the phone didn't work Christmas day. Just remembering how you had to type every word out and checking social media wasn't a thing yet unless you had a computer to use. -
microsoft pc
(not 100% accurate of the dates) we got a computer for me to use in my room where I checked my myspace and talked with friends. I also remember that computer well because I downloaded music on cds a lot but I'm pretty sure that website was banned. -
palm pilot
that same year I got a new phone that was like a mini computer. It was called a palm pilot. I didn't particularly like that phone because it was bulky and the screen kept blacking out. I remember going to sprint and getting another one for free so that was convenient -
mp3
I got a red mp3 player which is my favorite color and I was super excited for that because I didn't have to carry around a cd player anymore. not to mention downloading music was a whole lot easier on the computer I was still using at home -
HTC droid
I got my first smart phone. I want to say it was HTC but I cant remember . but finally I was able to check social media on there and actually have music as well. I also liked that phone because I would create my own ring back tones on it. Which is what I missed the most about the older phones.
