Simplicity became more fashionable during this time, with hair worn closer to the head. Men began wearing clothing that resembled a more rural style. -

It was around this time that English fashion became more popular than French fashion for the first time in a century. Men's pockets began to be placed in the front of their breeches. Powdered hair was less fashionable, and more natural colors were used instead of bright colors. -

During the Regency Era, men's fashion steered towards practical fabrics, such as wool, cotton, and buckskin. Men's clothing was understated, yet they were dressed as gentlemen. -
Menswear 1815
During this time, high collars lost popularity in favor of a lower collar. Wellington boots were the height of fashion. Overcoats, or great coats, were in high demand as well.
