The festival was made popular by musicians such as Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, Muddy Waters, and Howlin’ Wolf, and in recent years has headlined big names like the Decemberists, Fleet Foxes, the Avett Brothers, and Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros. This folk festival focuses on being green and suggests getting to the festival by bike, water shuttle, or ride sharing.
