Charles was born in 1809 12th February to parents Susanna and Robert Darwin -
younger years
at the age of 8 an unfortunate event occured, his mothers death. About 1 year later, he began studying at shrewsburys school for boys and was known as Charley. A few years later, at 13, he built a science lab in his shed after growing a strong passion for science. -
teenage troubles
When Charles was 16, he went to Edinburugh to become a doctor following in his brother's footsteps. Soon after, Charles realized he did not believe this job was the best that could be offered. Later, he moved to cambridge to become a vicar by his father. However, he had noticed neither of these fit his future and could not be seen by him. -
All aboard the Beagle
Despite passing his exams in becoming a vicar, Darwin agreed to join an expedition to become a naturalist under John Henslow's commands. This meant he could experiment and discover plants, rocks and animals. -
adventures within the Galapagos
The voyage lasted an uneventful 5 years of bore and sorrow whilst they headed on to the southern direction of America. When they reached the unknown islands, they discovered up to 300 numerous, new animals. It is said he took a dozen seeds to plant at home. -
Origin of species
Charles wrote his discoveries of his first travel journal. He planted his seeds at home in 1837. -

He wrote a famous book as you know the "Origin of species" which he presented as a new discovery, he explained the idea that plants and creatures had not always been the way they are today. This is known as evolution. -
The unfortunate death
Charles Darwin passed away at the age of 73 remembered for the truthful successes he conquered. Today, his intelligent ideas are still used today in the world of science
