Plane crash
The plane that the boys were riding in crashes on the island. -
The boys group up
Ralph and Piggy use the conch shell to call in all the other boys. -
The fire
Ralph decides making a fire is the best idea so they gather wood and start it with piggy’s glasses but it gets out of hang and burns one of the kids to death -
Who are the boys?
Ralph is the leader of the group. Piggy is the voice of reason and the smart one. Jack is part of the hunters group and is also some what of a leader of his own group. Simon is an epileptic . Roger is a mean older boy who likes to pick on the other kids. -
Face paint
The hunters make face paint to show that they are hunters and everyone else doesn’t think much of it. -
The first kill and the fire
The hunters finally kill a pig but they also get blamed because they let the fire go out and now Ralph and Jack are mad at eachother because they believe different things. -
The beast
the younger boys are starting to go crazy and are starting to fear a “beast” and the older boys are trying to calm them -
The beast from the sky
the older boys see a dead body parachute down to the island and now they are certain of the beasts existence. their fear is too bad to check the body for tools and they eventually throw it in the sea . -
“Play” Fighting
they boys devise a game where one of them is the pig and the others pretend to kill it. this eventually goes wrong and they actually do kill one of the boys. -
The new tribe
Jack is finally fed up with Ralph bossing him around and runs off to from the true hunter tribe. -
The pig speaks and the end of Simon
Simon stumbles off exploring on his own and has a massive seizure and sees a pig head on a stake speaking to him. He eventually passes out and when he wakes he walks into a feast the hunters are having and they mistake him for the beast and chase him and finally kill him. -
Stealing piggy’s glasses
Jack needs to make fire and they only way they know how is with piggy’s glasses so they beat the other boys and steal them. -
Getting the glasses back and the death of Piggy
Ralph is mad so they go to confront jack and while they do Roger drops a rock on piggy’s head killing him. and then the hunters begin to hunt down Ralph for trying to take control again -
Rescue and the end
The hunters set fire to the island to find ralph and while he is running he runs directly into a military officer looking for them. and they are finally saved and that’s the end of the book
