  • Elijah's Birth

    Born two weeks early, Elijah was eight pounds. His mom has been taking multivitamins to try to produce a very healthy baby. She also ate many donuts do to her craving for donuts. She exercised daily by walking to ensure that the baby would be healthy.
  • Moving to Hong Kong

    My dad just found a new job in a foreign country called Hong Kong. I was only a few months old, but living in Hong Kong would change my health drastically. My father was present at my birth but had to leave shortly after in order to make it to make it to the first day of school.
  • Learning to ride a bike

    Learning how to ride a bike has influenced my physical health. Now biking to school in the mornings is part of my daily life. It helps me think and be thankful for what I have around me.
  • Meeting Anilton

    Anilton was my first soccer coach and mentor for me. I first met him at Yes Brazil and he has been coaching me through life and soccer ever since.
  • Going to ICS

    Going to ICS has impacted my health by influencing my love for sports and teaching me the foundation of how to keep healthy.
  • Moving to the Philippines

    Moving to the Philippines affected my physical, emotional, relational, environmental, spiritual, and mental health. The Philippines encouraged having fun. The ways that they had fun in the Philippines included more physical exercise so I built up better endurance in the Phillippines. Emotionally and relationally, I had to make new friends. The people in the Philippines are generally friendlier. It was easier to make friends, but I never forgot the friends I had in Hong Kong.
  • Moving back to Hong Kong

    After our furlough, we moved back to Hong Kong. We still went to ICS. Many people complimented me. They said that I looked fitter and taller than before. I saw my old friends and made new friends, but I wasn't content. I knew that I could be fitter. I started to train, little, by little.
  • Meeting Mr. Cresswell

    I was in second or first grade when I first met Mr. Cresswell. In fifth grade, I was developed enough to play with the U14 boy's soccer team. Mr. Cresswell saw my passion and my potential, he pushed me to my limits. Even though sometimes I cried, I stuck with the team.
  • Middle School

    Middle school was a time of uncertainty. I was confused and didn't know what to do. My relationships with my friends, coaches, and teachers helped me get through these times. This is also when I got my first phone and computer. There were many aspects of my life that I had to juggle.
  • 9th grade

    Physically I was stronger, working out more consistently. Emotionally I was stable. I had a solid friend group who had a positive impact on me. Being in an older youth group, I learned how much God loves me.
  • Philippines National Team

    Playing for the Philippine National team, I got to share my faith and experience a culture from a new perspective. I had to make new friends and work together with my team in order to do well in the games.
  • 10th Grade - Where am I now?

    I believe that working out is an outlet for me. It gets me thinking and helps me put my mind off other situations. The youth group that I am in, the teacher is very friendly and allows me to ask many unanswered questions.
