    Book Fair at LHS
    Students, parents, grandparents, friends, neighbors, & staff associated with Lakeview Schools shopped at Barnes & Noble, Battle Creek in November 2009. A percentage of purchases went to Lakeview High School Library. We appreciated community support in this important project that allows us to purchase supplemental resource materials. The LHS Library/B&N Book Fair has become a holiday tradition with a wonderful performance by the Chamber Choir.

    Lakeview High School has been selected as the one Michigan stop on author Jay Asher’s “50 States Against Bullying” tour. 13 Reasons Why was greatly enjoyed by students.

    Film Director Deborah Riley Draper visits Lakeview HS to show a screening of Olympic Pride, American Prejudice, a powerful documentary about 18 African American athletes who represented the U.S. at the 1936 Olympics, despite facing significant prejudice at home and abroad.
