    Jazz started in New Orleans to start giving hope to the people after World War 1. It was created by African American Artist Louis Armstrong. They used instruments like pianos, trumpets, and trombones. After Jazz got popular they started the Blues.

    Women were sick of not being equal with the men to vote to the women started up the movement to vote. Every state to the right of Mississippi had the right to vote but on this day every state allowed women to vote. The vote was 50-49

    The autogyro was invented by a Spanish engineer named Juan de la Cierva. He wanted to be able to travel through flight on a low speed. He flew the autogyro on January 9,1923 at Cuarto Vientios Airfield in Madrid.
