The emancipation proclamation was a law made by president Abraham Lincoln. Stating that all slaves should be let free immideatly. And to no longer have the slaves under the confederate control. This law was signed by Abraham Lincoln January 1 1863. -

after a bloody four years, general robert lee surrendered to general ulysses grant. although the confederates didnt want to, they had no choice. the confederates were down by alot of men. The south had to let the north take the win in this war. But still to this day, rage is in the mind of some people. -

Jane Addams Founded Hull House
Jane Addams co founded the hull house in 1889. This was a settlement home. This home had a big impact on America. By insuring the education of kids that weren't getting any. This home also protected them. Leaving them with food shelter and a loving family. -
NAACP Founded
The national association for the advancement of colored people was founded february, 1909. This act was made to insure that colored people are getting the right amount of education they need. The NAACP was made in the civil times to break the chain of blacks being uneducated. -
Ludlow Massacre
The Ludlow massacre was a crucial mass killing, that took place in Colorado, April, 1914. This massacre involved the Colorado irom, and the national guard. Thus event happened because of the disagreement between two companies. The victim were innocent children and men that mined.
