Jonathon Sanders Musical Timeline

  • My First Keyboard

I received my first keyboard for my 8th birthday. I still have it to this day. Because of this gift, I currently play piano and inspired by music. https://www.facebook.com/jonathon.sanders.7/videos/vb.100001792568473/262897080446709/?type=3
  • My First Guitar

    My First Guitar
I received my first electric guitar for Christmas when I was 10. Due to this gift, I picked up an interest in learning guitar. This is also what got me into rock music.
  • My First Musical

In 8th grade, I was in my first Masquers musical, Mulan. I had about 3 lines. I was miserable for most of the time being part of the cast. This convinced me to never do another musical ever again. :)
  • My First High School Concert

In my freshman year, I performed in my first PHS choir concert. I was very nervous, but excited as well. The concert went great, and it made me realize that I wanted to be involved in music for the rest of high school.
  • My First Quartet Performance

    My First Quartet Performance
At the NHS induction in my junior year, I was asked to perform a quartet of the National Anthem with Zach, Caroline, and Maura. I was absolutely terrified because I do not like singing alone or in small groups. The performance was spot on and it gave me confidence in singing with smaller groups.
  • My First Rock Concert

In my junior year, I attended my first concert: The Red Hot Chili Peppers. It was amazing. This gave me a greater appreciation for performing live and an overall love towards music.
  • My First Duet Performance

    My First Duet Performance
My first duet performance was at the Tri-M induction. I sung The Sound of Silence by Simon and Garfunkel with Zach. We sang amazingly together and I further proved to myself that I could sing in small groups, or maybe even by myself in the future.
  • My First Solo Performance

This has not happened yet, but I will be performing as a solo act in Mr. Pitman. I am very nervous, but have boosts of confidence from my previous experiences. I will do well and have a greater love for music and the art of performing.
