    In 1955 John set up a band called The Quarry Men and two years later Paul McCartney joined the band. The pair formed by John and Paul was perfect to write songs and would give origin to the Beatles. In August 1962 John Lennon married Cynthia Powell and remained with him until 1969 when he joined Yoko Ono, a strong and mysterious figure, whom many blame as the cause of the group's breakdown.
