Abraham was wathing a play at fords theater shortly after the end of the civil war and was assassinated by John Wilkes Booth. John was an actor and confederate sympathizer. shortly after He was later found and killed. -
13th amendment
The thirteenth amendment baned slavery from all of the seceeding states. Most former slave joined the union army. -
