    Shang Dynasty was Ruled by aristocracy. They created something very important: silk. This helped them to trade along the silk road, whch is one way they state-built and became so seccesful. They declined because their emperor was overthrown.

    The Zhou Dynasty was the longest lasting Chinese one ever. It was the beginning of the "mandate od heaven". They state-built by building roads, making trade and agricultural advancements. Also, Daoism and Confucianism were introduced at this time. They declined due to lack of control by emporers over warring city-states.

    The Qin Dynasty was very short lived. It was ruled by only one emporer: Qin She Huanshi. They dopted legalism, made the first great wall of China. Shey declined becuase of how many enemies they had who took advantage of them after their ruler died.

    During the Han Dynasty, legalism replaced confucianism, the Silk road developed, and Buddhism was introduced. Also, paper was invented. They declined because of weak leaders.

They invented the decimal syetem, discovered pi, concluded the earth is round, made medicinal discoveries, and had some legendary poet named Kalidassa. They made their name as a state by their very cool discoveries in life.

    The Nara period in Japan was very Buddhist. Also, it's capital kept changing. The population increased by only 1 million in all its time. That's because the life of the peasant was very harsh. Then the government offered a deal. no taxes for military service. Those who served in the miliary were called Samurai.

    The Aztecs had one central power city called Tenotichlan. Aztecs had such a considerable amount of land (for that time) that they had to individual governments rule each city. They declined because of European invasion.

    Ghana was on Sudanic State. A major part of its economy came from gold. it declined due to The Almoravids fighting with it.

    Heian means peace. This was a time when Jaoan became less influenced by China and started to have its own identiry. The Samurai warrios became more or a thing. Bushido meant "way of the (Samurai) warrior". It was a way of preserving peace. Samurai soldiers were very well trained and stand out alot from most other soldiers in history because of their uniqueness. During the Heian period, State-building was established mainly through Samurai soldiers.
