The battery life was greatly increased on this iPhone compared to it's older ones. Also, this iPhone was the first with a selfie cam which allowed Apple to launch FaceTime.

    The iPhone 4s was very similar to the iPhone 4 with features and price. The simplest price for the iPhone 4s was $200. Although the price did go up to $400 for the 64GB phone. The major feature that came out with the iPhone 4s was Siri, the voice activated assistant.

    The iPhone 5 came out in 2012 for $200 for the 16GB phone. The iPhone 5 could run on IOS 10. It had a 4-inch display and had a 1440 mAh battery capacity. It also had a 1.2-megapixel camera. The iPhone 5 was the first iPhone with the lightning cable.

    The iPhone 5s's original price was also $200 when it first got released. The iPhone 5s had a major new feature which was Touch ID. Touch ID immediately became very popular and was a very easy way to unlock your iPhone. It had a 1570 mAh battery capacity and a 4-inch display.

    The iPhone SE was simply a copy of the iPhone 6s in a smaller body. It was released for $400. It was the same size as the iPhone 5s, but ran on the A9 system chip which was used in the 6s. This Special Edition iPhone did not have a camera bump and had a 12-megapixel camera.

    The iPhone 7 came out in 2016 for $650 for the 32GB. The major difference of the iPhone 7 is that it had a virtual home button. There was an increase in battery life due to the removal of the headphone jack. Another feature of the iPhone 7 was that it was IP67 water resistant which means it would survive for half an hour a meter underwater. Also, it had a 25% brighter screen.

    The iPhone X/ iPhone 10 came out last year for an astonishing $1,000. There were many big differences with the iPhone X including the all-glass back, the OLED screen, no home button. The OLED screen meant that the front of the iPhone was all screen except for the small notch on the top. Also, this iPhone does not have a home button, instead you have to swipe up to get to the home screen. No home button=no Touch ID. Touch ID was replaced by Face ID. The iPhone X has a 5.8-inch display.

    The iPhone 8 was released last year for $700. The major feature of the iPhone 8 was wireless charging. This meant that you can charge your phone by placing it on a charging pad. Also, Apple added augmented reality and made the screen an all-glass design. The iPhone 8 had a A11 bionic chip and was a bit heavier than the 7.
