This is the period of time between the two World Wars. It started when the Compiegne Armistice was signed on 11th of November 1918, and ended when Germany started their invasion on 1st September, although Japan was warring just before the end of this period, and joining the second world war. This was also the period that large powers such as Stalin and Hitler came into power, utilising their power to shape their countries -
Treaty of Versailles

A large step in social culture, the Roaring Twenties was a period where more people were living within cities, rather than rurally or on farms. Advertisements told society to do things that would appeal to them, women dong 'ladylike' things, and men being the boss. It was also the time for jazz music, and art decoration, where designs would become for looks rather than usability -
