Made by Britain, France, and the United States, The Treaty of Versailles was made to defeat Germany. Germany was forced to limit their men to only 100,000, keep troops out of its Western territory, repair all the damage caused in the war. -
League Of Nations
The first international security organization was made. Germany along with the Soviet Union were not included, and the United States chose not to be involved with it. -

This split European socialist parties and added Communist parties to each country. They are eventually all subservient to direction from Moscow. -

The Stalin defeats the last of its major rivals. The Stalin's ascendancy had forced industrialization, and police repression along with purges. -
Depression
When Americas stock market crashed that effected the world bringing a depression. It effects Europe the most during their summer. -
Japan Invades Manchuria
Japanese make an undeclared war against China and Manchuria. The League of Nations attempt to stop Japan but fail and the national order is starting to fall.
