It was created and introduced to average people in 1976, but in the 80´s it suffered a big popularization, specially in the video stores. For the very first time average people with a VHS player was able to watch their favorite movie at home. It used to lost resolution the more you used it. -
The first text processor
On the 80s there were a lot of technological advances wich took us to a whole differen level on our way to coummunicate. The first of those was the invention of IBM`s Personal Computer on 1981. It was the first computer ever invented to work as a personal text processor, without it, we could only see something similar at universities. -
Sony Walkman WM2
Walking back home listening to music wasn´t as easy in the 80´s as it is today. This device was the first that allowed people listen to music in the outside. It weighed about the 300g. -
Casio Watch
Maybe the most famous watch ever. In the 80´s there were a lot of different types with integrated calculators, schedules, and remote TV controls. It still being a sales success today. -
Camcorder Sony Beta BBC 100 p
This camcorder wasn´t the first, but even with it´s hard functioning it turned very popular between the record fans. It was also used in Hollywood to film some action scenes in the movies. -
Motorola DynaTAC 8000X
This device is actually a treasure for some people and the predecessor of smartphones. Thanks to his creator Martin Cooper it changed drastically our way to comunicate. It was REALLY expensive (3995 $) and heavy and due to those two characteristics it was called: ´´the phone for the rich and strong people´´. -
Google
Google had his heyday in the 90´s but this search engine created by Larry Page and Serguéi Brin started working in 1988. Nowadays Google is the most visited page on the internet and one of richest company in Silicon Valley.
