    -Tolerated Hinuism.
    -Had great ideas about civilization, architecture, and administration.

    Abu Akbar

    -Grandson of Babur.
    -One of their best rulers.
    -Believed in religious tolerence.
    -Ended the tax on non-muslims.
    -Non-muslims were not forced to obey Islamic laws.
    -Changed the capital to Fatehpur Sikri.

    Jahangir

    -Akbar's son
    -His court included large numbers of Indian Hindus.
    -He began building monuments and gardens.
    -Changed the language to Urdu.

    -Commissioned the Taj Mahal, it symbolizes stability, power, and confidence.
    -Moved the capital to the Red Fort in Delhi.
    -Raised taxes which agrivated people within the empire.
