In particular, in China there is a significant issue with many younger Chinese people is the inability to correctly write Chinese characters and only know how to write the pinyin, the Romanized version of Chinese words used with computers -

As the world moves towards an environment where being multilingual is required to live and work aboard having students be fluent in more than language will be required. -

The number of IB schools will continue to increase. I expect that there will be significant increases in “Western Countries” and developing countries.
