  • Schutzstaffel Organized

    The Schutzstaffel was a major paramilitary organization under Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party in Nazi Germany, and later throughout German-occupied Europe during World War II. Affected the Nazi party.
  • Reichs Zentrale is created

    A company. It said, all of the German radio stations other than the Deutsche Stunde in Bayern – serving the various states of the Weimar Republic. This affected Germany because of their radio stations.
  • Law for the Prevention of Hereditary Diseases

    A law mandating the forced sterilization of certain individuals with physical and mental disabilities. This affects those with physical and mental disabilities poorly because its forced sterilization so not what they want.
  • Hitler becomes Chancellor

    Hitler becomes chancellor, this allows him to seek more power than ever before. At the start he didn't abuse his power, but as time progressed he started to affect the jews.
  • Hitler Claims Emergency Powers

    The Enabling Act gave Hitler plenary powers and followed on the heels of the Reichstag Fire Decree, which had abolished most civil liberties and transferred state powers to the Reich government. The combined effect of the two laws was to transform Hitler's government into a legal dictatorship. This affects Germany well, but eventually poorly because they have a new leader that can make decisions quickly.
  • Boycott of Jewish Businesses

    This was when the Nazi's and the Germans closed and forbid Jewish businesses. The Jewish business owners were drastically affected by this
  • Nazi’s Occupy Rhineland

    Nazi leader Adolf Hitler violates the Treaty of Versailles and the Locarno Pact by sending German military forces into the Rhineland, a demilitarized zone along the Rhine River in western Germany. This affects RHineland negatively because their treaty with Germany got violated.
  • Kristallnacht/The Night of Broken Glass

    A program against Jews carried out by SA paramilitary forces and civilians throughout Nazi Germany. This affected the Jews poorly because it was their persecution and discrimination.
  • Einsatzgruppen, starts

    A deployment group, that was sent on deployment missions. This affected the Jewish people because multiple mass executions were attempted.
  • St. Louis Ship (with Jews)

    During World War II, the Motorschiff St. Louis was a German ocean liner which carried more than 900 Jewish refugees from Nazi Germany in 1939 intending to escape anti-Semitic persecution. The refugees tried to disembark in Cuba but were denied permission to land. This affected those on the ship negatively because first of all they have to go back to their persecution and they would most likely die due to the limited supplies available.
  • Germany invades Poland

    When Adolf Hitler attempted to regain lost territory. People in Poland were affected as well as the Poland forces.
  • Babi Yar

    A trench used by the German forces to carry out massacre. Located in Kiev. The soviet union forces and people were affected the most.
  • Yellow Star for German Jews

    A badge Jews were forced to wear basically everywhere to identify themselves as Jewish. This affected Jewish people negatively because it led to people discriminating against them.
  • Last Gassing at Auschwitz

    The last inmates gassed in Auschwitz had been forced to dig up and burn the remains of that camp's mass graves, thought to hold 100,000 corpses. This affected the people in Auschwitz negatively because it killed them.
  • Lodz Ghetto Opens

    The Łódź Ghetto or Litzmannstadt Ghetto was a Nazi ghetto established by the German authorities for Polish Jews and Roma following the Invasion of Poland. This affected those in the ghetto poorly because they were treated very poorly.
  • The Commissar Order

    The Commissar Order was an order issued by the German High Command. Its official name was Guidelines for the Treatment of Political Commissars. This affected Germany positively because it gave them something to follow and keep them in line.
  • Wannsee Conference

    The Wannsee Conference was a meeting of senior government officials of Nazi Germany and Schutzstaffel . This affected The nazis and Schutzstaffel positively because they were communicating.
  • Himmler Orders liquidation of Ghettos

    Himmler ordered the liquidization of the Ghettos. This was primarily affecting the Jews, as well as the Nazi's.
  • Creation of the Zigeunerlager

    The Zigeunerlager was a Gypsy camp in Auschwitz. The Gypsies were abused and affected by this.
  • Himmler Orders Destruction of Auschwitz Concentration Camp

    When Himmler ordered the destructions, the Nazi's tried to cover up the evidence of the mass executions. The Nazi's were affected by this because multiple airstrikes were called in.
  • Liberation of Auschwitz

    The Soviet army entered Auschwitz and liberated more than 7,000 remaining prisoners, who were mostly ill and dying. The people in Auschwitz are affected positively because they are set free.
  • Nuremberg Laws

    The Nuremberg Laws were anti semitic and racist laws in Nazi Germany. These laws affected everyone that was being discriminated against poorly.
  • Hitler Commits Suicide

    Holed up in a bunker under his headquarters in Berlin, Adolf Hitler commits suicide by swallowing a cyanide capsule and shooting himself in the head. This affects the Nazi's negatively because they lost their leader.
  • International Military Tribunal

    The International Military Tribunal in Nuremberg, Germany, begins a trial of 21 (of 24 indicted) major Nazi German leaders on charges of crimes against peace, war crimes, crimes against humanity, and conspiracy to commit each of these crimes. This affects Nazis poorly because they are getting punished for what they did.
  • Dr. Josef Mengele arrives at auschwitz

    Dr. Josef Mengele was known as the "angel of death." Arrived in Auschwitz. The Jewish prisoners were affected because of medical experiments, etc.
  • Auschwitz Concentration Camp Opens

    Auschwitz opened in 1940. This concentration camp was located in South or Southern Poland. The Jewish people will soon be affected by this because it will soon become an active prison.
  • Adolf Eichmann captured

    Eichmann was captured by the Mossad in Argentina on 11 May 1960 and subsequently found guilty of war crimes in a widely publicised trial in Jerusalem, where he was executed by hanging in 1962. This affected the Germans because he was one of their leaders.
  • Madagascar Plan presented

    A plan to exile European Jews to the island of Madagascar. Affected Jews negatively because Jews would be exiled which is bad for them.
  • Dr. Josef Mengele Dies

    Dr. Josef Mengele dies. He was very abusive and evil to the jewish people. At this time nobody was really affected because it was much later into the war. Affects Jewish people positively because they didn't have to fear him anymore.
  • Law against Dangerous Habitual Criminals

    The new law allows courts to order the indefinite imprisonment of “habitual criminals” if they deem the person dangerous to society. It also provides for the castration of sex offenders. Affects sex offenders and people dangerous society poorly.
