    *Why- The significance of this battle was that it was the turning point of the war, and was also the bloodiest battle. It affected us today because it was seen that the confederate states were winning, but this battle turned that around. The cause was General Lee's plan to invade the North.

    What- Law that outlawed discrimination in all public places
    Who- The U.S.

    *Why- Significant because it ended segregation on public places and banned discrimination no matter the race, color, religion, gender. etc. It still impacts today's world because we no longer have separate bathrooms for example, based on color.
