Vlad Dracula or "Vlad the impaler" is born
Vlad obtained a reputation for his cruelty and the stories that spread through Europe. Vlad would impale his enemies and eventually got the name Vlad the Impaler. This is where Bram Stoker, the author of Dracula, got the idea to use Dracula because it already had a sense of terror to it. -

This is a story about a vampire named Dracula that moves from Transylvania to England so that he can find prey and spread the vampire disease. Dracula moves into a castle and finds Lucy. He bites Lucy infecting her with vampirism. Van Helsing tries to cure her but he can not. He finally catches Dracula and kills him. -
