    Philo Tans Farnsworth invented this and it worked by taking anodes and turning them into electrons to be displayed on the screen.

    The first channel is WRGB, which is still around today!

    The first commercial was aired in 1928. The ad was for the Bulova Watch over the Summer.

    TVs were taking up way too much space, so Sony introduces the world's first flatscreen TV.

    We have went from no color, to multi-color, to flatscreen, to high dynamic range, to 4K, and are now even heading towards HD 8K! The future holds promise for all TVs.
