  • Roberts v. City of Boston

    Roberts v. City of Boston
Our world would have not been able to function as well as it does today without this major event. We have millions of people of color working towards things such as finding the cure for cancer, preforming brain surgeries, taking care of our sick family members. To stop a person of color from getting an education is beyond words and this event was a huge part in where the American public education is today.
  • World War 1 and Standardized Testing

World War 1 and Standardized Testing
Standardized testing is a very important topic in todays public schools. Wether or not they are a good test of student knowledge is another story but it general, it is a good way to get data.
  • Brown v Board of education

    Brown v Board of education
Brown v Board of education is very important because without it we were separate but equal. How can people be equal but still be educated in separate buildings?
  • Children with Disabilities

    Children with Disabilities
It's important that educators care about children with disabilities just as much as children without. Without the law of making sure teachers are providing education for children with disabilities, the "no child left behind act" is being violated.
  • No Child Left Behind Act

    No Child Left Behind Act
This is a very important event because it does not say, no rich child left behind or no child of color left behind. The law simply states NO child left behind which has deeper meaning than the public might think. Rich, poor, black or white there is no child that does not deserve an education. History use to not be that way so this was a stepping stone towards our education.
