    Nolan Bushnell hires Al Alcorn to create a car-driving video game. It becomes to difficult so he decides to create a version of ping-pong instead. Pong revolutionized the arcade industry and launch the modern video game era.
  • Atari's Video computer system

    Atari releases it's Video computer system(VCA), later renamed the Atari 2600. VCA was the first widely successful video game system.
  • Lotus 1-2-3

    Lotus 1-2-3
    Mitch Kapor creates the Lotus 1-2-3. This is a software suite for the IBM PC. The IBM PC can be considered a personal computer and the Lotus became the first "killer application" for them.

    Pixar is founded in 1986 by Lucasfilm. At first the widely known game system was originally called the Special Effects Computer Group. Later on, the Apple computer co-founder Steve Jobs, renamed it Pixar and Disney soon bought it in 2006.

    JPEG is considered a digital image format which allows trade-off between photo quality and file size. This is one of the most popular image format's. In 1992, JPEG was finally purchased and running.

    Dave Jones and Mike Dailly created the first game of GTA. This game was set in Liberty City, which was a fictionally place with a free form structure. This game hyped up sex, drugs, and violence, leading to calls for its outright banning. All in all this game was a huge success and was ported to main different systems.

    The USB flash Drive consists of flash memory encased in a small form factor container with a USB interface. They can be used for data storage and in the backing up and transferring of files. They were faster and had greater data capacity then earlier storage media.

    My grandma bought a Nintendo DS when they came out in 2004. After a couple of years, she and my uncle decided to pass it down to me. With the DS, I played Pokemon FireRed for the Gameboy.

    For Christmas I received an Xbox One. There is about 4 different types of Xbox's which consist of the Xbox 360, Xbox 360 Core, Xbox 360 Pro, Xbox 360 Elite, and the newest, Xbox One. I didn't really play my Xbox until this year (2018). This is because none of my friends played any games that were interesting to me until Fortnite came out. After I started playing Fortnite I started exploring with other games like Halo and Call of Duty.
