The IRT subway line brings New Yorkers rapid transit and access to the new theater district. -

Flo Ziegfeld's lavish production would become a Broadway staple for many years to come. -
The Golden Age
Rodgers and Hammerstein's first show, Oklahoma, was produced. The duo would go on to write some of the most beloved Broadway Musicals in history, including Carousel, South Pacific, The King and I and The Sound of Music. -
