Volunteer Work
For almost 4 years now every Saturday I've been volunteering at a mosque where I help kids learn about the religion of Islam with fun activities and small class lectures. -
Short term (this year)
My goal for the rest of this semester is to get all A's. I could have done better first semester, but now I want to change and try to get all A's. -
Job Details
Since May of 2015 I've been tutoring my neighbor Curtis 5 days a week with any schoolwork or extra practice he needs. I get paid weekly, and just give him advice and help on his assignments. -
Clubs/ Activities
I joined Sports medicine club here at Nles North after school. I go a couple times a week and get certified to perform certain sports medicine related tasks such as wrapping injured wrists or fingers for athletes. -
Clubs/ Activities
I joined MSA at Niles North. It's an Islamic club after school on Fridays where we talk about our religion and do fun related activities. We also have small parties from time to time. -
Long Term (post high school)
I am planning to go to college, I am interested in going to a University such as Loyola here in the city. I want to go to medical, nursing, or pharmacy school in the future as well after graduate school. -
In 5 years... Schooling
I would hopefully be finishing up graduate school. My goal is to most likely go into medical or nursing school afterwards. -
In 5 years... Jobs
I would hope to have some job relating to my career I am working towards. Something like a position in a hospital that I can temporarily have while I'm still studying for my main career. I would hope to makeenough money a year to be comfortable while being a student to help pay off loans. -
In 5 years... Living Area
I would probably like to live in Chicago, because I would prefer to go to college in the city as well. I've lived here my whole life and I wouldn't want to permanently live anywhere else. -
In 5 years... Living Arrangements
I would love to be living in a city, probably in a condo to start off. I've always wanted to have a beautiful condo in the city with a view. -
In 5 years... Car
I would most likely be owning a car. Probably nothing too fancy at that point in time, something that's functional and nice at the same time. I'm not too picky on cars. -
In 10 years... Jobs
Based on what I choose as my career, I would proabably have a job at this point, and would be done with school. I am leaning more towards the pharmacist or nurse anesthesist side rather than becoming a doctor, and I would be making well over $100,000 a year with either of these professions. -
In 10 years... Living Arrangments
I will still be living in Chicago, maybe in the suburbs becuase around this time a house would be a better option with a family. Definitely being close to the city if not in it. -
in 10 years... House?
I would like to have a house at this point because My career would be set, and maybe I would have a family at this point. -
In 10 years... Marriage
It would be nice to be married at some point in my twenties so I could expect that. It's hard to know when to have kids since I am young right now, but I would definitely want kids.
