    20's
    AGE: 26
    -Eat a balanced diet, including fruits, vegetables, proteins, dairy, and whole grains
    -Protect skin and eyes from the sun
    -Exercise regularly
    -Have a medical checkup every 2 years
    WOMEN:
    -Schedule gynecologist appointments
    MEN:
    -Schedule testicular exams
    SEXUAL HEALTH: HIV screenings
    MENTAL HEALTH: reduce stress
    EMOTIONAL HEALTH: create balance in your life
    -Prevent accidents such as motorcycle collisions, falls, overexertion, or drug overdose
  • 30's

    30's
    AGE: 36
    -Maintain a healthy weight (slower metabolism)
    -exercise regularly; try exercising with a friend or family member
    -Get enough sleep; try a 20-30 minute nap each day
    -Wear sunscreen
    -Don't smoke or quit smoking
    -Reduce stress
    -Monitor BMI, blood pressure, and cholesterol levels
    SAFETY: Don't drink and drive, wear seat belts, and watch back pain
    -Keep up skin care
    -Build muscle
    MEDICAL: dental and eye exams, hearing test, cholesterol and skin cancer screenings, and immunizations
  • 40's

    40's
    AGE: 46
    -Know your family medical history and keep an eye on any things that change
    -Keep an eye on the body as it is prone to more issues such as chronic pain, Osteoporosis, resting heart rate, and higher levels of cholesterol
    -Changes in sexual health occur
    MEN: testosterone deficiency
    WOMEN: perimenopause
    -Continue to eat healthy and exercise regularly
    -Take care of your skin
    -Watch for vision/hearing loss and digestion issues
    -Get physical exams including diabetes and cancer screenings
  • 50's

    50's
    AGE: 56
    -Continue to eat healthy (limit foods high in unhealthy fats)
    -Stay active (30-60 minutes of exercise a day)
    -Challenge your mind (book clubs, playing cards, etc.)
    -Stay a healthy weight (menopause doesn't help with that)
    -Get enough sleep
    SCREENINGS
    WOMEN: mammograms, breast exams, and pelvic exams
    MEN: testicular exam and prostate (if recommended)
    -Physical, dental, skin, and eye exams as well as blood pressure, cholesterol, and diabetes screenings
    -Annual immunizations
  • 60's

    60's
    AGE: 66
    -Reduce risks for health problems by watching for symptoms, talking with your doctor, and following their recommendations
    -Take care of your heart (know your blood pressure, cholesterol level, LDL, HDL, etc.)
    -Maintain a healthy weight and exercise at least 30 minutes a day
    -Eat healthy and limit processed foods

    -Bone density tests
    -Colonoscopies
    -Blood glucose tests
    -Hepatitis vaccines

    -Shingles (prevention)
