  • Quit My Job For The School Year

Since I was so stressed during high school I decided to quit my job to help me balance my other activities. I wanted to enjoy my senior year and not be too stressed, so I decided to drop an activity that I don't necessarily need right now.
  • Short-Term Impacts

Short-term solutions are what people "come up with most of the time"(unit 1, pg.8) The effect of me leaving my job has helped me balance my school activities more, and be less stressed. I think I will still be happier without work in my schedule during this short-term period.
  • Long-Term Impacts

Long-Term Impacts are harder to predict because a current behavior has fast outcomes and long-term impacts do not have "immediate benefit"(unit 1, pg.8) A long-term impact of my decision could be me not making as much money as I usually do and I would have not as much money in my account to save for college. A positive long-term impact is me having more time to focus on school and keep my high GPA so I can look good to the colleges I'm applying to.
  • Why My Healthy Choice Was Good

I don't work that much during the school year anyway, so I won't be losing a lot of money for my college fund. Even though people "evolved to handle immediate problems"(unit 1, pg.8) I thought about the effects of my decision before I made it. I knew I wasn't going to make as much money because of sports, clubs, and keeping my GPA high. I wanted to make sure to have all of my activities on my college application this year and look good to admission office people for the college I want to go to.
