    The Battle of Mokuʻōhai, fought in 1782 on the island of Hawaii, was a key battle in the early days of Kamehameha wars to conquer the Hawaiian Islands. It was his first major victory, having leadership over much of the island.The battleground was just to the south of Kealakekua Bay.At this moment, Kamehameha's forces arrived and, seeing Kiwalao held fast by Keeaumoku, stabbed the king, who collapsed bleeding on top of the ground.This war lead to the unification of hawaii.

Kamehameha split Hawaii into different areas of the islands.

    Isaac Davies and John Young got captured. Isaac Davies was a survivor of The Fair American that got attacked by Kame'eiamoku. John Young from the ship Eleonara was left behind by Simon Metcalfe.
    Both of them became an advisor for King Kamehameha.

    Pu'ukohala Heiau was completed.
    The Pu'ukohala Heiau was completed during 1791. It was built for Kamehameha's war god. Kamehameha had a meeting there with Keoua. After Keoua left the Heiau he got killed by Ke'eumoku one of Kamehameha's warriors. Keoua's body got sacrifised to the war god of the Heiau.

    The Battle of Nu'uanu took place in Oahu. King Kamehameha landed by Diamond Head and Waikiki. They fought until Kamehameha’s men scattered Oahu’s defenders into two directions, one group to Pearl Harbor, the other group into the mountains. The last stand of Oahu’s soldiers was made by 300 warriors on a Pali in Nu'aunu Valley. Kamehameha's warriors didn't stop till the Oahu warriors fell of the Pali. The chief escaped but later captured.

    Kamehameha sailed to Kaua'i to conquer the Island. He had more than 800 peleleu canoes. The peleleu canoe is often a doubled-hulled canoe. But strong winds and rough seas sank many of the canoes. So he had to stop the attack of Kaua'i.

    The Law of the Splintered Paddle or Māmalahoe Kānāwaib was made when kamehameha tried to attack fishermens and children by the beach. Then they got into a fight and he got hit in the head. So he made a law that protects the weak from the strong.

    Kamehameha was about to attack Kaua'i but diseases spread through his warriors. So he had to postpone the attack again. But in 1810 Kamehameha and Kaumuali'i, ruler of Kaua'i and Ni'ihau, met in Honolulu. They both agreed to place the two islands under the rule of King Kamehameha until King Kaumuali'i dies. Thats when for the first time all the islands were united by one ruler.

    Sailing in the Thaddeus, 14 missionaries (seven mission couples) and four Hawaiian boys left Boston, funded by the American Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions. They arrived in Hawai'i after 164 days.
