in jan 18 1778 captian cook was looking for the north west passage.when he was loking for it he spoted oahu. he went to shore not noing what would happen. when he got to shore he was treated like a god. he let them treat him like a god. acoptle day later he left stocked. but he got in a storm causing hom to go back. when he got back he was not treated like a god. they got in a fight captian cook was dead after that, -

the battle of nu'una
king kamehameha was ruler of most of the islands but not oahu. king k.
went to oahu and the oahuans had a trap they had hidden canons in the
mountains. but kamehameha troops went up to the canons and destroid
them,so there plan backfired on them king k. forced the oahuans into
the pali valley and some people died by falling of the clef. some
people comet suaside. some people got killed my king k.s men and so
on.. after that kamehameha ruled all of the islands but kauai and
ni'ihau.
