The war was most about ending slavery in Haiti. The Haitian slaves were eager to prove that slavery was a wrong thing so when they started the war it was about ending slavery in August 14, 1791 when they started the war. -

It started August 14 1791- and ended Jan 1 1804. It started from in August when slaves were getting annoyed by having to be treated differently and being disrespected. -
Slave population
The slave population at that time was 500,000 slaves. There were many slaves in the war/ 500,000 they were the ones fighting for their rights and opinions for slavery to be gone and over. -
The amount of deathes
350,000 people have died in the Haitian Revolution about 200,000 of those deaths were slaves fighting for their own rights. 200,000 out of the 350,000 people that have died were slaves the other 150,000 were the opposites for slaves to continue to be slaves. That was throughout the war so around maybe 1800. -
Description of the Haitian Revolution
The Haitian Revolution was described as the largest and successful war of ending slavery in the Western Hemisphere. Meaning that the Haitian Revolution was the biggest/ largest successful war of ending slavery in the Western Hemisphere since it was the end of the war it was Jan 1 1804. -
Ending slavery
The goal after the war was that slavery was ended and there was freedom In Haiti. So no more slavery and freedom in Western Africa/ Haiti. -

After the war not only was slavery over but French control over the colony. After the war slavery was over in the Western Africa/ Haiti are but they also got French control over the colony so what French get is what they also get. -
Haiti gaining independence
Haiti was the first country in Latin America to gain independence. After the war was over Latin America was the first country to gain independence and have slavery over so they got a lot after the war. -
The Leaders
The French were the leaders of the war. The French were the people that were fighting for slaves to continue to be slaves and keep it going so they were like the bad man to the slaves for their own rights for slavery to be gone. -
The Goal of Western Africa
The slaves in the war came from Western Africa and Haiti. The main ones in the war since they were the ones fighting for slavery to be gone and done. But the slaves came from Haiti (the main place they were fighting in) and Western Africa.
