Get the E-club Involved
The first hting you would want to do is get help from people who care. The E-club is all about making the school more green, so it would bea good help to have them working with you throughout the project. -
Come up with a way to present the idea
Next, you would have to come up with a way to present the idea of reusable plates to the school and the principle. -
Get the idea to the GRPS school board
The next thing to do would be to get the school board involved, You would need to get them involved so they can give permission, and for funding. It won't be free, so, you're going to need money from somewhere -
Go Shopping!
It might take a while, but after you get your money, go shopping in bulk on the internet. That's the easiest way to get this for the whole school. Also get a dish washer. The process is lengthy, but it'll be worth it in the long run. -
Inform the school
After you know you are sucessful, inform the school that they now have reusable plates, and give any additional rules, too. Some rules may be to bring your plate back to the counter to be washed instead of being thrown away. -
Put it into effect!
After all of that is done, you can start having reusable plates in the lunch room. Have the lunch served on the new plates, and send the old, disposable plaates back to the manufacturuer!
