    The German Worker Party was an extreme nationalist party. Hitler was ordered to investigate it, but he ended up agreeing with their views and joined their party.

    Soon after Hitler joined the German Worker party, he became the leader of it. His passion for German nationalism made him a suitable leader for the group. He now has total control over the group, and renames it the Nazi Party.

    Germany was forced to pay for the war. In 1921 the "reparations" were set at 269 billion marks. The German nation had to pay reparations because they had inflicted huge damage upon many countries.

    The beer hall putsch was lead by Hitler and his new Nazi party. Their main goal was to seize Munich and take control over the government. Their plan was not sucessful.

    The schutzstaffel was also known as the protective Echelon was one of the most compelling and feared organization in all of nazi Germany. It was created for Hitler to be his own personal bodygaurds everywhere he goes. Heinrich Himmler was the leader of this organization. The Schultzaffel was deemed a criminal organization because of it's direct involvements in war crimes.

    While in prision, Hitler wrote his autobiography, Mein Kampf (My Struggle). This book was about his extreme German nationalism, anti-semitism and anti-communism beliefs. It was what he thought should be done within Germany,

    During 1929 the Nazi party grew rapidly and became the largest party in the german parliament. The Nazi party mainly grew because Hitler was a kind dictator. Everyone supported him because he never rose taxes and gave huge tax breaks constantly. Hitler promised farmers a higher price for their crops and unemployed workers jobs, he told the citizens what they wanted to hear.

    The Greart Depression was the hardest time that the Western industrial world had went through. It was very long lasting, and had put everyone out of their homes, also everyone was unemployed. Basically made everyone restart their lives.

    The concentration camps were estabilished to detain Jews, and to hold them under extreme conditions. Hitler created concentration camps to create his Aryan race. In order to do this, he had to get rid of the Jews and other people who are deemed undesirable.

    The Enabling Act was passed by a two-thirds majority by the Reichstag (German parliment). This allowed the govern,ment to ignore the constitution for 4 years while they try and create laws to fix the countries problems.

    Hindenburg, at the time was the current leader of the Weimar Republic of Germany. This opened new doors for hitler, it meant he would be able to become the new president/dictator of germany. Hitler then declared himself the Führer (meaning leader).

    After Hindenburg died, a door was open for Hitler to take control of Germany. Hitler, with his Nazi party, are now in control of Germany.

    Hindenburg, basically gave Hitler all the power to become chancellor and president, also to create a new government under pressure. Two months after, Hitler started a foundation for the Nazi Party's complete control over Germany.

    The Nuremberg laws were law passed by the Nazis to strip jews of their citizenship and took away all fo their rights. This excluded Jews from usnig things like public transportation and from going into public buildings. They were also ordered to wear a yellor Star of David, as well as carry an identification card that says their jewish.

    Kristallnacht (Night of the shattered glass)
    The night of the shattered glass was a huge anti-jewish riots. On this night, at least 100 jewish poeople were killed and 30,000 jewish males were sent to concentration camps. Synagogues and jewish businesses were burned and estroyed. The aftermath was that jews were prohibited from enternig public transportation, as well as public buildings such as schools and hospitals.
