Bodies of the different genders are highly distinctive; small waist, curves, frilly dresses, Males husky with a gruff look. Woman nurture, clean. Males always involved in adeventures. -
In the 1970's
Guys are strong, sexual, into cars, one track mind. (Girls) Females, pink ladies, petite, superficial, into pampering themselves, top priority being boys. -
In the 1980's
Women started hosting television shows. The 80's often featured female characters in central roles. -
In 2000
Kim Possible Cheerleader by day, thin. Female super hero by night, saves the world. Weak, clumsy, male side-kick. Not the typical gender roles but a break through from to social norm.
