The Great Fear
The Great fear was a time in which everyone believed that the nobles were trying to outlaw the peasants. Women started rioting over the prices of bread and panicking. These women then got angry and started rioting and demanding that the national assembly focus on the bread prices and do something about it. They then killed guards while breaking into the castle and demanded that Louis and Marie return back to Paris. -
Bastille Day
The prisoners took over control of the Bastille due to anger about the rumors being spread. The rumors spread talked about how Louis intent was to use the military force to dismiss the national assembly. This angered the prisoners causing them to go on a rampage killing hundreds of guards and raging the streets.
