Fahrenheit 451 Plot Line Part 3: Burning Bright

  • Exposition to Part 3

    Montag is now brought to a gunpoint by Beatty and a stanoff is prepped. Mildred was responcible for the call and now depressed, she leaves Montag forever. Montag and Beatty are having one last conversation, and Montag takes his flamer and burns Beatty to a crisp, incinerating him. Montag, now a number one suspect subdues the other firemen and makes a run for it.

    Guy leaves only to be attacked by the mechanical hound, Montag burns the hound, but in return the hound injects Montag with a needle numbing his leg. Montag goes to retrieve the remanider of his boks and leaves for saftey, now a fugitive.

    Now on the run, Montag makes it though the neighborhood and crosses thorugh streets with the sound of helicopters, hounds, and firemen by the burning house. Montag is then stopped in his tracks by a car. The car turns toward Montag, but luckily he escapes. Thinking back, Montag is eager to kill them, even wondering if they killed Clarisse

    Fahrenheit 451 Part 3:Burning Bright

    Montag has recently met Faber, once a professor now a hermit living by himself, the both of them join forces to rebel against the government. Montag goes to work, and on a call they go to the scene where a stash of books were reported. Once arriving to the vicinity, Montag finds out that the house belongs him.

    Montag finally makes it back to faber's place, and happily rejoices their final moments. Montag's plans now are to escape the town and make it to the outskirts, Faber tells Montag of a group of squatter's who were formally professors. Before Montag leaves they turn on the tv to watch out for the firemen, Montag and Faber exchanges their last moments and Montag leaves for the outskirts.

    Montag hides and watches the hound prowling through the streets by Faber's house. The hound is tricked by the foil planned by Montag and Faber. Montag continues on his journey to the outskirts.
  • Climax of Part 3

    Montag now joins Granger's group, together they band to memorize novels and knowledge and spread the word out to others out their. Montag understands that now he is a storykeeper, the group also have a system where, "Let live and let die." The group continues on their journey away from the town.
  • Rising Storm

    Montag arrives a stream by the beginning of morning, he washes and then turns to move on. Follwing the tracks of an old railroad, Montag follows it to a squatter camp where he meets the professors. Floating on the river, Montag looks back through his past actions, he looks at the sun and sees the firemen, he is reasoning himself back then and him now.

    Rising Action
    Montag meets up with the squatters and they introduce each other. Montag is suprised to see the group of squatters doing well, he meets the leader, Granger. Together they have a talk and they converse about the past, Granger then mentions that he is a keeper of knowledge. Suddenly, the news rupture as media news say they have captured Montag, when in reality they have not. The firemen kill off teh said Montag and the pursuit is over. Montag is both happy and sad by this, but still continues.

    Flying bombers followed by a massive explosion coming from the center of the town, then, a mushroom cloud fills the sky. Montag is deafened along with the others, as he stands, he is shocked ny the unfortunate atrocities that just happened. Montag reminists of Mildered and Faber, wondering if they at all made it out alive.

    Montag and the group now have stopped to take a short rest, Montag is still thinking about what happened to Mildred and Faber. Both of them dead and the whole city leveled into oblivion. Montag thinks of the first time they me in Chicago, and then he and the others cook breakfast and make out.
  • Conclusion of Fahrenheit 451 and Part 3

    Granger and Montag converse with each other and Granger informs Montag about the mythical bird, the phoenix, and that the phoenix dies and is reborn from the ashes, it symbolizes that all men are like that. As the men continue their journey in sillence, Montag thinks to himself and remembers the passge from the bible and recites it. He then says to himself that he will remember these words till they get to the ciy.
