  • Psi Chi Membership

    I will join this membership by the spring 2019 semester. This membership will expand my psychological knowledge, increase my access to scholarship opportunities, and enhance my networking opportunities.

  • APA Membership

    I will join this membership by the spring 2019 semester. This membership will expose me to career options, travel benefits, and psychological tools that will improve my success as a psychology student and employee.

  • UAA Psychology Club Membership

    I will give join this club during the spring 2019 semester by attending the weekly meetings. This membership will contribute to my psychological knowledge, increase my social networks, and expose me to opportunities that will increase my career and educational competitiveness.

  • Behavioral Sciences of the North Conference

    I will attend this conference during the spring 2019 semester. This conference will give me insight to the current developments in psychology, enhance my networking skills, and contribute to my educational and career growth.

  • PSY 495 - Practicum

    I will complete this by the fall 2019 semester. Taking this course will give me direct exposure to the behavioral health field, potentially provide me with job options, and increase my knowledge of other businesses dedicated to the behavioral health of Alaskans.

  • Teaching Assistantship

    I will become a teacher’s assistant by the spring 2020 semester. This assistantship will give me hands-on experience working with the college population with the help of a mentor. Additionally, it will give me the opportunity to obtain a quality letter of recommendation and improve my interpersonal skills.
