The military colonel Juan Peron, who headed Argentina’s Ministry of Labor, organized a fundraiser to help the people that suffered the earthquake. As an actress and radio show host, Peron was invited to be there, and she met her future husband at the fundraiser’s gala at Luna Park Stadium. -

Death Of Eva Peron
Sadly in 1952 after here long years of dedication and work she passed at a young age. She died from some type of cancer. They say the last thing she did was have a speech to her people then went home and collapsed the 7 hours later died. -
After Death
After her death they did not bury her right away they waited 3 years to bury her. In 1955, when Juan Peron was overthrown by a military coup, they took her body and had it interned in a Milanese grave under the name of a nun. They feared her legacy would provide a point of opposition to the military regime.
