  • Wozniak's Early Life

    Wozniak's Early Life
    Steve was born into technology at an extremely young age. His father was an electrical engineer out of Sunnyvale, California. Growing up Wozniak grew a love for Mathematics and this pushed him for greatness in the beginnings of his life. Eventually Steve would attend the University of Colorado for one year, before dropping out. Upon his return to California, he attended the University of California to complete his learning.
  • Steve's Work

    Steve's Work
    Throughout Steve Wozniak's life, he has gradually stepped up his successes in the technological world. For example, Steve invented a device known as the "Blue Box" which would allow for any person to hack into phone networks and make calls for free. Working at several different hardware stores for experience, Steve soon found himself dropping Berkeley and receiving a job at Hewlett-Packard Company.
  • Homebrew Computer Club

    Homebrew Computer Club
    In 1975, Steve found himself being drawn to a group known as the Homebrew Computer Club. This club allowed for young and smart individuals drawn to the same kind of love for technology as Steve. Here, microcomputers were worked on and coding developments towards the future were discussed about.
  • Development of Apple

    Development of Apple
    While working with the computer club, Steve eventually started creating his own microcomputer. The homebrew computer club was not interested in these ideas of creating a new computer, so Wozniak started to distance himself.These ideas would catch the attention of Steve Jobs, who believed in Wozniak and sought to start a company, eventually named "Apple". The capitol for this company would come by any means possible. This money came from Steve Job's sold car and Wozniak's programmable calculator.

    Apple's First Official Creation
    Steve Wozniak and Steve Jobs set along to create a test kit for others to play around with and experience. This was known as the Apple 1. Soon after receiving positive feedback, the Apple 2 began to be built. The finished product of this computer would be completed in 1977, including a built-in keyboard and colored visual effects.
  • The Big Boom!

    The Big Boom!
    After receiving immense amounts of success with the Apple 1 and 2, Steve Wozniak and Jobs sat in their happiness while it lasted. Apple had grossed a market value of over $1 billion, making Wozniak an instant multimillionaire with his stock shares. During the progressive stages of Apple, Wozniak set out to improve and adjust future Apple products.
  • Wozniak's Return and Retirement

    Wozniak's Return and Retirement
    Soon after the progress of Apple seemed to shoot towards the sky, Wozniak began working on new advancements for the company. Some of these included the 3.5-inch floppy disk, Apple's Operating System, and even internal software applications. Work was shut down soon as Steve had accidentally crashed his own plane. Surviving the accident, Wozniak recovered, only to hear that he'd been diagnosed with traumatic amnesia.

  • Receiving the Credit that's due

    Receiving the Credit that's due
    Wozniak had returned to Apple in 1982 though resisting the offer quite heavily. Finally retiring and hanging up to coat in 1985 as an "active member". Immediately after, Wozniak had received the National Medal of Technology given by Ronald W. Reagan. This award was given to Steve Jobs as well. Looking to further improve the future of technology, Wozniak worked towards philanthropic events and causes, such as education of children and teaching computer classes to kids and teens.

    Living a more relaxed life
    After venturing and helping with the world and giving to others, Wozniak still decided it wasn't enough. Steve would go on to fund various different type of computing companies such as Fusion-IO and Primary Data. Steve also became a top advisor as a majority of other companies as well.

    iWoz
    Steve Wozniak eventually combines all of his thoughts and ideas into a book. Released in 2006, "iWoz: Computer Geek to Cult Icon" instantly became a hit in the technological world. This book would reveal secrets of Apple, Steve Jobs, and even give a more funny look into the life of great Steve Wozniak. Most importantly, it described how he achieved everything, but with having fun doing it.

    The company which started in the garage with two people couldn't have been possible without Steve Wozniak. Known as the brains behind the operation, this company powered through the highest of the highs and lowest of lows. Steve was there for all of it, and helped with majority of it. Without Steve Wozniak, Apple would not be nearly close to where they are today.

    Steve soon began traveling the world to talk to others about his success and how some can control their strengths and turn them into ideas and product. Inspiring others would come to Steve easily, as he had helped inspire the entire technological community for decades before.

    Steve Wozniak now runs his own technological site known as Woz.org. This company focuses mainly on energy savings, but Steve is still involved with investing towards technology advances.Even during the COVID-19 outbreak Steve Wozniak is seen reaching out to those who follow him, and giving them advice towards better results out of whatever you are trying to accomplish!
