Wozniak was born in San Jose, California. Father was an engineer so Wozniak was exposed to electronics at a young age and began building electronics from scratch. -

Wozniak attended UC Berkeley, De Anza College where he transferred from, and also atttended the University of Colorado Boulder where he was expelled. -
Beginning of Apple
Wozniak was introduced to Steve Jobs, "We first met in 1971 during my college years, while he was in high school. A friend said, 'you should meet Steve Jobs because he likes electronics, and he also plays pranks.' So he introduced us."

In 1975, Wozniak began to develop the computer that would become the first Apple computer. Wozniak worked very hard to impress the Homebrew Computer Club. -
Apple was Created
Wozniak created Apple Computers with Steve Jobs. Wozniak created the operating system and hardware of the first computer. -

Apple went public at $22 a share. -
Unfortunate Accident
Wozniak had an unfortunate accident while flying a plane that he crashed quickly after takeoff. It took him a long time to recover. He did not immediatley return to Apple after the accident. -

Wozniak was married to Candice Clark from 1981-1987 and he had three children with her. He re-married to his current spose, Janet Hill -
Ended Career at Apple
Wozniak ended career at Apple Computers Inc. because it was stopping him from what he really loved to do which was develop the computers.He felt the company was not doing well. -

Wozniak was called “Silicon Valley’s most creative engineers” and he created the Electronic Frontier Foundation with Mitchell Kapor. This was an organization that showed the legal aid for computer hackers with criminal faults. -
Wheels of Zeus
Wozniak founded Wheels of Zeus a wireless GPS technology. He wanted to help people find things easier than what they were. This has a significant impact on the GPS we use today. -
Autobiography
Wozniak published an autobiography called “ iWoz: From Computer Geek to Cult Icon: How I Invented the Personal Computer, Co-Founded Apple, and Had Fun Doing It”. His book made the New York Times Best Seller list which was a huge accomplsihemnt for Wozniak. -
Hall of Fame
Wozniak was added to the Manufacturing Hall of Fame by Industry Weekly. -
Woz U
Wozniak founded Woz U which is an online technology service for independent students.This was approved by the Arizona state board.
