    kindergarten
Wowie school for the first time. You get to be around a ton of other kids in a very structured environment. You're developing social skills and starting to learn very foundational knowledge and such. You don't hate school yet.

  • 3rd grade

January of third grade we changed schools. I went from garden elementary to renner. Basically all the cool kids befriended me because I was the new kid and it was crazy how fast everybody knew me. I was generally in traumatized by the move but made some very vain friends that didn't stick around past 5th grade.
  • middle school

How my middle schools were set up was in teams of a couple hundred people in each, 6th 7th and 8th grade I was put in a different team in each that never included people I knew so I constantly felt like an outsider and had to struggle to make new friends with people who were lucky enough to be consistently on the same team.

    Adolescence

    indentity versus role confusion
teenagers work at refining a sense of self by testing roles and then integrating them to form a single indentity, or they become confused about who they are
  • hellschool cough cough oops high school

Dude look at you you're in high school. Youve been waiting gor the indepence but somebody just slammed adulthood books and tons of extracurriculars at you. You're tired all the time half insane loose all your friends because you have negative time and they don't take your classes. I grew some metaphorical balls about this time in my life, nobody gives a flying fadoodle about your problems so shut your mouth and pretend like you have it under control. Oh and don't forget to smile.
  • Drivers licence?

    Drivers licence?
Turning sixteen years old marks independance that before you didnt have, you've probably gotten a job and can now also drive yourself places. Even though you're still living at home its a big step towards becoming an adult. (I didnt actually get my permit after i turned fifteen so i couldnt get a license on my sixteenth birthday I actually stilll dont have a permit. illl get there)
  • wow autoimmune disease

Basically all my life I had pain so one day I got taken to a doctor that sent me to a GI that also advised I had blood work done. So when I was 9 years old I found out from all the blood work I had an autoimmune disease that also made me loose my hair sometimes but didn't at all explain my chronic lower abdominal pain. Basically I made awkward excuses for why my hair grew really patchy on my body, why I had a few baby bald spots, and no eyelashes on one eye. #startifmysocialawkward
  • Graduate from High school

    Graduate from High school
Highschool graduation marks your beginning of adulthood. Im stubborn and I don't want to grow up by going to college and living on my own will definately make it obvious that I'm a grown up.
  • Period: to

    Young Adulthood

    Intimacy versus isolation
young adults struggle to form close relationships and to gain the capacity for intimate love, or they feel socially isolated
  • first place

    first place
I'm living on my own. I'm generally a semi social person so hopefully I'll have a roommate or somebody so I won't be completely alone. I'll be even more independent. I'll be cleaning and cooking and I'll have bills, starting to get really adulty, hopefully by then I won't feel like a penguin getting pushed off a cliff into some ice cold adulthood.
  • Child?

    Child?
Having children a lot of time is very much a grounding thing, its no longer you but also your baby. Youre gonna be nesting and settling down. I actually don't know if i want a child if i do I'll have one i guess.
  • Period: to

    Middle adulthood

    Generativity versus stagnation
in middle age, people discover a sense of contributing to the world, usually through family and work, or they may feel a lack of purpose
  • retirement

Wow you've lived awhile time to get all that sleep you missed out on. Go on a vacation, chillax, watch that kid you might have had have babies. You realize you're older. You gone die sometime possibly soon. You don't feel as young, little achy.
  • Period: to

    Late adulthood

    integrity versus despair
