  • Honig v Doe

    Honig decision is a landmark case in which the U.S Supreme Court dealt with the issue of expelling a disabled child based on actions arising out of a child's disability. J. Doe who is an emotionally disturbed student who was expelled from school. Even tho Doe was expelled he was able to be homeschool. Under the Education of All Handicapped Children Act students with disabilities is free to public education setting as other individuals.

  • 504 Rehabilitation Act

    504 Is a civil rights law that prohibits discrimination against individuals with disabilities. Section 504 ensures that the child with a disability has equal access to education.
