    Increasing the resilience, retention rates and school completion rates of our most at-risk students requires an understanding of ACE scores, literacy and current research on culture, intergenerational trauma, chronic stress and resiliency. Our speaker, Ed Gillis, is an Alberta teacher/administrator who has worked closely with youth both on and off reserve. A member of Fort Albany First Nation, he holds a BEd from University of Alberta and a Master’s Degree from Queen’s University.
