    Jamestown was established 60 miles from the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay. The island was a "safe" fort meaning that the Spanish could not fire blank into the fort.

    The exact date is unknown. But the slaves were brought in the middle of summer to the colony of Jamestown. Slaves were brought to North America to help with the production of tabacco.

    It was September of the year 1620 that the pligrims decided to seperate from the church of England. They set a voyage to the colony of Massachussetts. And settled in a place called Plymouth. The pilgrims set sail to Plymouth in order to gain freedom of religion.
