    The 1967 Dodge Charger looks just about the same as the 1966, but Chrysler Corperation added and took away a few things. They added a rear spoiler for nascar and this was the first American car to have a rear spoiler option. Also they added and replaced a few of the engines. They put a better 318c.i. engine that got more horsepower. The new engines were the 440c.i. 4bbl V8 and a 383c.i. 2bbl V8. Also they kept the Hemi and the 383 4bbl.

They put different tail lights on the 68 Charger. They removed the trunk carpet and made the tachometer an option. It came with 5 trim levels. 318c.i. 2bbl V8, 383 c.i. 2bbl V8,
    383c.i. 4bbl V8, 426c.i. Hemi 2x4bbl V8, and 440c.i. 4bbl V8. They sold 91,100 Chagers this year

    The Dodge Scat Pack started this year. It included the 1968 Dodge Charger R/T, the Dodge Cornet Super Bee, and the Dodge Dart GTS. These cars came with bumble bee stripes that came in black or white.

    The 1969 Dodge Charger Came with a few changes from the 1968 version. This year Chrysler started the SE version. SE standing for Special Edition. This model came with leather seats on the front seats only,wood grain steering wheel, wood grain intstrument panels, Chrome rocker moldings, and came with the base engine, a 318c.i. 2bbl V8. Another change from 1968 is the grille. They added a split to the middle of the grille, and the last change is the tail lights to a full bar style.

    This year the Rallye Edition Replaced the R/T and the SE options on the Charger. This was the year the car manufactorors made them decrease the horsepower of the cars because of the EPA. The engine options stayed the same.

    This was the show that made the 1969 Dodge Charger famous. Bo and Luke Duke drove a 1969 Dodge Charger in the show. It was painted orange with 01 on the side, a confederate flag on the top with General Lee painted on both sides of the flag, and a push bar on the front of the car. It had 7 seasons and lasted till 1985.

    Carroll Shelby took the last 1000 Shelby Chargers and made them into Charger GLHS's. This produced 170 horsepower because it had a turbo. They still had the same looks and badgeing as the Shelby Charger
