  • Storming of the Bastille

    Storming of the Bastille
    Tensions rise as people of France are in outrage about the governments handling of the country. As a sign of defiance, the Bastille prison is stormed and destroyed. It was known as a symbol of France's political leaders tyranny.
  • National Convention Formed

    National Convention Formed
    This group of people were "in power" during the craziest parts if the French Revolution. They made the decisions of who could vote, and who was allowed and who wasn't. Noble classes were destroyed as well as the king and queen.
  • King Louis Executed

    King Louis Executed
    In the start of the revolution it was thought that the king and queen could still be in power, with more allowance to the people in the area of respect, wealth, and basically every other category. But soon the people realized this wasn't going to happen. When the king and queen were found trying to flee the country, the only logical option was to have them killed. King Louis was brought in front of the country, and beheaded.
  • Louis XVIII Crowned

    Louis XVIII Crowned
    After the desfeat of Napolean and shrinkage or France's size, the country decided to reappoint a monarch. Crowning king Louis XVIII. The previous ways of France, in a way, were set back to before just with major enhances and a new Consitutional Monarchy.
  • Waterloo Defeat

    Waterloo Defeat
    With the death of the king and queen the country came in search of a new leader. Instead if a king which was terrible, they got a emperor. A great & fierce general as well, Napoleon conquered much of Europe. Unable tho to beat England and Russia. One day he started a failing war against Russia, and the last battle was lost at Waterloo. Napoleon was then rejected by France and exiled.
